Most strucken identify with the label Struckengender, but there are some exceptions. It is a sliding scale of a few things: - Day or Night - Dawn or Dusk - Favorite or preferred season These determine times that they are active (awake during Day, Night, Evening, or Morning), social roles and clothing, but not super strictly. It is always a choice the individual makes; rarely is Struckengedner assigned at birth or at a young age. For example: a strucken with a preference for Day, Dusk, and Winter would most likely be Day-Dusk Winter Struckengender. It is more akin to [xenogenders](https://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Xenogender) than a binary gender when it comes to comparing it to human gender. It also usually does nothing with sexual/romantic/etc attraction for them (but there are exceptions, but it usually isn't thought about much either). # Day or Night The Day or Night Spectrum determines whether the individual prefer it being Day or Night when they are awake. Though, they are asleep during most of the time they are not identifying as. It also determines what color of clothes they would wear: darker clothes for Night and bright, colorful clothing for Day (though, this is not strict). Rarely its in-between or outside of it; it is a yes-or-no question with no other options. # Dawn or Dusk The Dawn or Dusk Spectrum determines whether the individual prefer when its Dawn or Dusk. Its often tied to Day vs Night, determining if they were see Dawn or Dusk when they wake up or go to sleep. Example: a Dawn-Night will wake up at Night and stay awake until the end of Dawn/beginning of day. a Dawn-Day will wake up in the morning and fall asleep near evening/Dusk. It also determines if they are more of a protector (Dusk) or if they're more of a caretaker (Dawn). Dusk strucken tend to protect those who are Dawn, and the Dawn will care for the Dusk. Dawns are also typically fed first but Dawns also open doors for Dusks. Rarely its in-between or outside of it; it is a yes-or-no question with no other options. # Season Season determines where they prefer to live or prefer to be location-wise. Example: A Winter Strucken would prefer living in [[Winterpine]] over the other places. All, Some, or None is an option too, but those strucken tend to stick to either [[The Border]] or pick a county based on other factors. # Male vs Female Male and Female are the words the [[Seasonstrucken|strucken]] use to explain their assigned sex at birth (ASaB). Usually relating to their...parts. Strucken use Male and Female as words to describe their parts, though in a lot of cases, they don't really care what their partners have, but it doesn't mean there aren't any that do.
